In 2006 Onyx continued to invest in the future of the group by setting up Onyx Electronics (Suzhou) Company Ltd in China to manufacture EMC shielding products and other electronic components for the Asian market.
DIY Phones
DIY Phones supplies, installs and maintains the telephones systems for businesses using the latest VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology. These systems operate over your exisiting computer network and provide all the features of a conventional PABX system but have two major advantages over such systems.
Firstly, they are simply plugged into your existing computer network and do not require any special cabling of their own. This means you avoid the cost, mess and disruption caused by re-wiring. Secondly, if you have two or more offices, each with a VOIP system installed, calls between the offices will be free. Home and remote workers can use a VOIP phone, plugged into their broadband unit, to call the office free.
Onyx Electronics (Suzhou) Co Ltd
Based in China, Onyx Eelctronics manufacturers EMI shielding products for customers who manufacture their end products in the Far East.
They also undertake high volume subcontract work on behalf of Radun Controls & Phi @ Falmouth customers where the manufacturing cost savings can be much greater than the shipping costs back to the UK.
Phi @ Falmouth Ltd
Phi @ Falmouth consists of two distinct divisions: Magnetronics - a leader in the design and manufacture of magnetic recording heads offering a broad range of high quality standard, bespoke and long life products for all markets, and Nexus ? well-established in electro-mechanical assembly and electronic subcontract manufacturing. ISO 9001:2000 registered.
Phi, working closely with SCIF Solutions Inc, USA, has designed and developed and is now manufacturing high quality, innovative modular
SCIFS and EMI/RFI Screened Rooms for major defence clients in the UK and Europe.
P & P Technology Ltd
P & P Technology is a leading specialist manufacturer of radio frequency and electromagnetic compatibility (RF & EMC) shielding products including shielded windows, vents and gaskets that can be completely customised for your needs. At their ISO 9001:2000 registered facility, P & P offers a full service ranging from consultancy through to prototype and full production to ensure you achieve compliance with the EC Directive on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) 2004/108/EC which became effective in January 2005.
P & P Technology also manufactures and supplies SmellsAway Activated Fibre Bin Pads which are a simple, cost-effective and discreet method of removing bad smells from any bin and keeping them odour free even in hot weather.
Radun Controls Ltd
Radun Controls Ltd is a major UK electronics manufacturing company, specialising in the design and development of ABS brake sensors for trucks and lorries and speed measuring sensors. Radun also offer a full electro-mechanical subcontract manufacture service in their ISO 9001:2000 registered factory.
Radun has designed and developed Sentinel, an electronic registration attendance monitoring system for use in schools and colleges. This system has been successfully used in schools throughout the country for over 15 years.
Caspian Climatic
is the specialist climate control division of Radun Controls Ltd. They are experts
in the
design and manufacture of industrial and commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, heated and cooled point of sale displays and food and beverage dispensers. They
specialise in providing custom solutions from design and prototype through to packaging and handling, and after-sales service.
Caspian also has a successful online shop supplying off-the-shelf refrigeration and heating appliances to the catering and retail trades.
Tech-Rep UK Ltd
Tech-Rep is a specialist sales and marketing company which provides technical companies with experienced representation in the UK. Tech-Rep works for a number of external principals as well as the other Onyx group companies. With over 35 years experience in electronic sales, they are skilled at selling to major design and manufacturing companies and have a dedicated in-house sales team as well as a team of professional field sales engineers located across the UK and Ireland. They also offer a bespoke marketing service to their clients.
